WHAT IS THE BASIC IMMUNIZATION FOR NEWBORN BABY ?
All parents always want a newborn can
remain healthy until adulthood and forever. Therefore it is very
important to provide immunity against the disease of our environment
conditions. In newborn babies, their body does not have an antibody
immune system, thus susceptible to the virus. Each baby has a
different antibody, there are some baby who highly susceptible to
viruses, some of them may already have body immunity inherited from
parents.
To provide immunity from virus attacks,
newborn should be immunized from a doctor or baby care centers. There
are some basic primary immunization which should be given to the
newborn. Basic immunization for the newborn are:
Polio
Polio vaccine has benefits to provide
immunity from polio virus that can make a baby become paralyzed.
Giving this vaccine by giving the baby's mouth drops.
Hepatitis B
Hepatitis B vaccine has benefits to
provide immunity from hepatitis B disease that can affect the liver
and can prevent liver cancer or cirrhosis. This vaccine should be
given immediate 12 hours after birth.
BCG
BCG vaccine has benefits to provide
immunity from the disease tuberculosis. Giving this vaccine by
injection.
