BASAL BODY TEMPERATURE INFORMATION FOR PREGNANCY
What is Basal Body Temperature?
Basal Body Temperature (BBT) is resting or waking temperature of pregnant woman
body. This temperature normally used to chart the fertility patterns of woman.
This temperature used to confirm ovulation passage. But please remember, this
chart is not give the warning approaching of ovulation. This is possible happen
because the progesterone hormone which is by quantity released only after ovulation
has occurred will make internal body temperature become rise slightly, this
confirms ovulation passing and particular cycle of fertulity.
When the ovulation happen (released of egg by the ovary), the temperature of
that woman will rise at about 1,5 degree, and this will remain on this plateau
until that woman's next period. This is the best change of getting pregnant
at about the 2 or 3 days before basal temperature raise, and at the actual ovulation
day.
How to determine woman Basal Body Temperature?
To determine woman Basal Body Temperature (BBT), the first thing that you need
is special BBT oral thermometer. This thermometer only has from 94 to 100 degree,
but this special thermometer has 1/10 gradations of degree to make every temperature
change even very little tiny change could be detectable.
To take the temperature, woman should do this at the first thing in the morning
before doing any other activity, even before getting up from bed to go to bathroom,
before have a drink of water, and before doing anything, even shking down the
thermometer to a lover temperature is prohibited. So, the night before you sleep,
make sure to prepare everything also the thermometer, then at the next morning
you just take and start to use that thermometer from your bed.
