SOY VS COWS MILK FORMULA WHICH IS BETTER?
Many of new parent have confused to give the baby milk, ether Soy based or
Cow based milk formula. However, breast feeding is one of very best method to
provide the good nutrition to babies. But of course mother should eat so much
good food with a lot of nutrition for make the breast milk become good.
At some case, mother can not always give the breastfeeding milk because of
some problem. Then giving the baby formula become the only choice for her/him.
Not every baby able to receive the formula milk especially milk based formula.
Usually, the problems for unfit formula is such as allergy or diarrhea. Baby
with dairy allergy or have pottentially diary allergy, or lactose intolerance,
or digestive upset should get soy based formula. If the baby also allergic with
soy based formula, then the baby should required using hypoallergenic formula.
Most doctor or pediatricians usually give recommendation to use cow based formula
for the baby, because the cow base formula is more closely matches with mother
breastmilk. Both formulas will provide comparable good nutrition, because both
milk are required to meet strict standards regarding nutrient levels for baby.
Research find out that soy based which is gave to baby had a negative impact
in health in young adulthood. The research compared 2 groups of adults to find
the significant difference between them. Dr. Brian Strom from the University
of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, chief author of the report, and his colleagues
based their conclusion upon 30 measurements. They have analyzed puberty and
sexual development; menstruation, fertility and reproductive history; height,
weight, and current health. The researchers also asked the men and women in
the study about cancer, sexual orientation and education.
Cow based milk naturally contains a readily absorbable form of calcium, and
also has higher quality protein than soy based milk. The ratio of protein, fat,
and carbohydrates form cow based milk are also a good balance for baby.
